Reading - Week 3

This is your reading task for this week.

Read through it and decide which learning style you have. To make it simple, I've summarized the main three learning styles:
visual - learning through looking at things
auditory - learning through hearing
kinesthetic/ tactile - learning through touching and experimenting.

Writing - Week 3

All of us have different experiences of school. I know mine was quite a pleasant one except for once when I had a teacher who loved throwing the blackboard dusters at those who talked. There was once when I was the victim of her so-called very powerful throws that was actually aimed at another classmate. I remember spending that whole year being very frightened whenever I had my Mathematics class.
I wonder if you have had strange teachers before. Tell me more about these teachers that you have had.

I hope you have been enjoying your Reading and Writing lessons so far.
I am sure many of you have experience travelling or going for a holiday abroad.
For me, I have fond memories of back-packing around Europe. It was really an enlightening experience and I learnt how to be independent. How about you?

Just to tell you a story.
When I was young, I disliked reading a lot. I used to think it was a waste of time when I could spend time doing better things like playing with my dolls. It wasn't until I started reading books by Enid Blyton that my views towards reading changed.

Just a short message

Hi guys,
Sorry I haven't been in ELS to teach you guys. My dad had a mild stroke and was hospitalized. I've been bz trying to get my head around all the current happenings.
BTW, I noticed that some of you have yet to post your comments for the first reading task. I have already uploaded the second.
As for the writing outline, I've only received three. What happened to the rest?

Writing Project Week 1

The topic for your writing project is

The actor/ actress that you most admire.

In the first week, you do not have to do any writing.
You only need to

1. draw up your outline for the essay...
2. do online/ offline research if you need to.
